Gari, Dental Hygienist
Gari graduated from the University of Toronto School of Dentistry in 1969. Our patients have enjoyed Gari’s gentle hygiene skills for almost 30 years. Gari is involved in the Staten Island Dental Hygiene Study Club to stay on top of the latest developments. Helping patients achieve optimal oral hygiene makes her job rewarding. After hours, Gari spends time with her husband, four children, and six grandchildren. She also enjoys Broadway shows.
Zel, Office Manager
For more than 25 years, Zel has helped our team and office work with synergy. Her most noted award is Miss Congeniality, so she’s a favorite with our patients. She particularly enjoys maintaining an office atmosphere that’s happy and light. Zel and her husband have two children and two grandchildren. She enjoys antiquing, riding her bike, and walking for exercise.
Angela, Office & Financial Manager
Angela has been with our team for over 8 years. She is our “girl friday’. She graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn and attended NYU College of dentistry for dental hygiene. Angela is usually in the company of her shih tzu Charlie who she rescued from a puppy mill. One of Angela’s passions is pet rescue and education. She also enjoys travel and loves to engross herself in good literature. She also travels with Dr. Hecht as his assistant when he does humanitarian work overseas.
Rosemary, Appointment Coordinator
Working in our front office, Rosemary helps patients reserve convenient dental appointments, and she supports our administrative staff. She loves working with our team and our wonderful patients. Before joining our team in 2008, Rosemary graduated from Moore High School, College of Staten Island, and US Public Health Hospital, where she attended the School of Radiologic Technology. Rosemary and her husband, Phil, have two children – Danny and Lauren. The family enjoys dog training, traveling, and spending quality time together. Rosemary also likes to garden, read, and shop.
