I have trouble getting numb. What can Dr. Hecht do to help me?
With high quality novocain and a gentle injection technique, Dr. Hecht rarely needs to administer a more advanced anesthesia method for numbing. However, Staten Island Dental Care offers nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, and IV sedation when necessary. We will work for your ultimate comfort, so just let us know your concerns.
What if sedation does not work?
With multiple sedation options, Dr. Hecht can find one that works for you.
Is sedation safe?
Yes! Conscious oral sedation and IV sedation are performed by certified professionals while the patient's vital signs are monitored. We employ standards of care that ensure your safety.
How long has Dr. Hecht been in business?
Dr. Hecht has serve patients in Staten Island for more than 25 years!
How are dental implants different from dentures?
Dental implants are anchored to the jawbone by a surgically implanted screw with which bone tissue naturally bonds. Dentures are held in place with clasps and/or adhesives. Dr. Hecht can place dental implants to secure dentures, as well.
Do you accept dental insurance?
We will gladly file your insurance paperwork for you so that the reimbursement will come directly to you in the mail. Please be prepared to pay for your dental work when the services are provided.
What payment methods do you accept, and what are my financing options?
We make paying for dental work convenient! You may pay by cash, check, or credit card. We also accept third party financing through CareCredit and Unicorn.
Will you see emergency cases?
Yes! If you experience a dental emergency, please call our office.
